How To Protect Pets From Fleas And Ticks:
After any outside play or walks inspect your pet for any pests. Brushing their coat will help remove insects.

Wash your pets bedding on a regular basis. This goes for toys, and food bowls.
Your home is their home, keep it clutter free! Vacuum regularly, especially in areas where your pet spends a lot of their time.
Your outdoor area should be well maintained as well. Fleas and ticks hide in tall grasses, mowing your lawn will reduce the amount of pests.
If you find a tick on your pet, Immediately remove it! Extract the head and mouthparts completely.
If fleas how found their way onto your pet, give them a bath and call your veterinarian for further instructions.
Bathe dogs regularly, using a pest killing shampoo when necessary.
