It starts before you even bring it home. Look over the tree before you choose. Check the underside of the branches and the trunk. What do you see?
Leave the tree in the garage before bringing it in for a few days. Remember this when picking the day of tree picking, allow for extra days before bringing it in for decorating.
Shake it!!! Place a light colored sheet underneath then vacuum the findings.
