Can Mosquitoes Spread the Novel Coronavirus,
Covid-19?
There is no evidence that the novel coronavirus can be spread by mosquito bites, and as the warmer weather is approaching this is extremely good news. Covid-19 is an upper respiratory infection that is spread by tiny droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. Therefore, it is not possible to contract the virus through a mosquito, easing some of the worry for fellow Americans.
Mosquitoes Can Be Deadly
Mosquitoes can be known as one of the deadliest pests.
Mosquitoes are vector pests that while they do not spread Covid-19, they can spread diseases such as, Malaria, Zika, and West Nile virus, making them one of the deadliest pests despite their tiny size.Even if they are not carriers of these viruses, their bites can be painful and irritating to most.
