Are Termite Droppings After Treatment Normal?

Retreating A Termite Infested Area
Are Termite Droppings normal days after a Termite Treatment? Good question!
You had a Termite Treatment preformed a few weeks ago and are STILL finding Termite Droppings in the same area that was originally infested, and treated. Well, it’s normal, to a certain extent.
Finding droppings around the same area that was treated is normal in the days, and some times weeks after treatment. But when is it not normal? If you find termite droppings that form in a pile rather than scattered means you may still have active termites. Days after treatment seeing droppings is completely normal, as the droppings will continue to push, and fall out of pre-infested area. If any repair work is being preformed in, or around the treated area you will see even more droppings as the area is being shaken and disrupted. However, months after treatment if termite droppings are still being found you will want to call the Termite Company who did the original treatment and have them come out to inspect the area. It could simply be a matter of the extent of the original termite damage that had been done, and just how much droppings are inside of the wood.
